VR point cloud annotation at ACM SUI 2022
A hybrid VR and desktop system for annotating laser scans of plants was faster and more accurate in VR, in a study presented at ACM SUI 2022.
Anton Franzluebbers, Changying Li, Andrew Paterson and Kyle Johnsen presented “Virtual Reality Point Cloud Annotation” at the ACM Symposium on Spatial User Interaction (SUI 2022). In a 16-person study, annotating plant laser scans in VR was clearly faster and more accurate than on a desktop.
